We offer consulting services and technical support for pilot plant and process operations. Our services when applied to resid hydrotreating and deep distillation of crude oils has allowed the engineer to better control plant operation and product properties.

 

We have developed a suite of transferable technologies to analyze crude oils and assess crude oil processability and compatibility characteristics.

 

We developed an instrumental method that allowed plant operators to evaluate natural gas purity and identify heavy end contamination in sales natural gas.

 

We developed training programs to transfer SIMDIS and DHA methodologies to six refineries for a major oil company. The program (which contained specific QA/QC procedures) assured consistent measurement protocols across company locations and allowed refinery planners to select the optimal crude slate for each refinery.

 

We developed and transferred analytical methods to characterize and identify contaminant streams in processes such as heat exchangers, hydrotreaters, reformers, chemical plants, effluent streams and oil spills both on land and water.

 

We have developed site specific libraries for process streams and products. The spectral or chromatographic "Fingerprints" allow the rapid comparison and characterization of process variation and contamination. The searchable computer database created,can be tailored to specific customer requirements and operations.
